delighted to arrange your itinerary. The family oriented atmosphere of the camp puts the parents and kids at ease and enable them to have a hassle free, fun time. The camp also features an exclusive ‘all female’ program as a part of Surf Girl Nation. Costa Rica Surf and SUP has a team of excellent surf instructors. All of them are professional surfers with plenty of experience, have certification in ocean safety protocols, lifesaving, first aid and CPR. The camp ensures you and your loved ones learn to surf and have a safe yet exciting time in the water. Guests can bring their own surf boards and equipment and save themselves a few bucks. However, if you don’t have any gear, you can easily rent it from the camp’s shop. Surf sessions for all levels of surfers take place namely beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers. While beginners start their lessons by practicing on the beach, seasoned surfers can begin surfing right away with a guide to improve and correct their techniques. Furthermore, Costa Rica Surf and SUP arranges guided surf trips particularly for veteran surfers. You can inquire about the packages and deals by placing a call or emailing them.
About the Camp
In 2001, Costa Rica Surf & SUP merely used to be surf shop. The town was then a quiet village with hardly any tourism. Gradually, Santa Teresa blossomed into a holiday hot spot and surfers and sport enthusiasts begin to visit from all over the world. The owners, Cosmic Benny and Aussie Al, decided to expand their business by opening up surf and SUP camp which proved to be a highly successful move.
