Del Mar Surf Camp is a luxury surf camp located in Costa Rica. It has been a leading surf camp for over nine years. The camp gives surfing a ‘Pura Vida’ touch by ensuring that students have fun and take their surfing skill to the next level easily. Del Mar Surf Camp has two branches. One is located in the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in Playa Hermosa, Jaco and other one is in Playa Nosara in Guanacaste. Both towns are a sanctuary for surfers featuring numerous surf points and beach breaks. Moreover, the towns are tourist friendly with a laid back and mellow vibe. The surf sessions are also conducted in Santa Teresa. Besides surfing, Del Mar Surf Camp offers tourists a great opportunity to learn about the culture of Costa Rica, practice Yoga, indulge in massages and reside in charming beach front lodges.
Del Mar Surf Camp Surf Lessons
Del Mar Surf Camp is mainly geared towards surfers. Located in Costa Rica’s best surf towns where there are superb beaches, waves and
breaks, the surf lessons become quite easy and fun. The classes are held in the famous surf spots. In Playa Hermosa the best surf points are Caldera, Esterillos, Rosa Loca, Escondida and Quepos. In Playa Nosara, the classes are conducted in Playa Camaronal, Playa Marbella, Playa Ostionol, Avellanas and Playa Negra. There are great billowing tides and waves that provide enough challenge with a right amount of mercy. The camp usually assigns 2 students per instructor however there are private and family classes as well. There are numerous customizable packages which are designed and tailored according to the guest’s presences. Vacationers can add other activities in their holiday package.
Del Mar Surf Camp Accommodations
For accommodations, the camp provides one bedroom condos, two bedroom condos and beach houses. The lavish ocean-front beach house can take up to 3 people while the condos are great for larger groups. All lodges are elegantly furnished and have various facilities. There is a fitness center where vacationers can do Pilates with a small group, Yoga and other exercises. For a more reposing treatment, go to the spa and get a revivifying full body massage.
Other Activities
Along with surfing, Del Mar Surf Camp arranges awesome expeditions to tropical jungles, canopy and zip lining adventures, ATV tours, ocean kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding on the beach, stand up paddling, wildlife viewing, and several more fun activities. Guests can also take Spanish classes and can master the basics of the language in a short time.
