Jazzy’s River House is a charming hotel with a surf camp located in a surfer’s town, Dominical, Costa Rica. It is owned and operated by a couple called Steve and Ruby Kim Fergus. Steve and Kim are wonderful hosts. They ensure that guests have a great time. The vacationers are a lot more than tenants to them. They treat every lodger like family and help them have a perfect tropical retreat. The hotel is no luxury place but has a sweet Swiss Family Robinson vibe to it which makes vacationers, particularly families with kids, feel at home. Spend your holiday by the river, Rio Baru, at Jazzy’s River House and enjoy numerous tropical adventures.
Accommodations
Jazzy’s River House is a two story vacation rental situated by the river, Rio Baro. It is a part cabina and a part tree house. The house 
features 3 furnished bedrooms that can sleep up to 5 people. Each bedroom is appointed with a plush bed and a full decorative bathroom with a bath, sunken tub, indoor and outdoor showers, hot water supply. Linens are also provided. There is a spacious fully stocked kitchen and a dining area in the house. The kitchen has all sorts of implements like a stove, modern gas range, cooking utensils, refrigerator and other amenities. There is a washing machine where vacationers can wash their clothes. Outdoor features include a terrace, a patio with garden views and a large deck. The house has view of the beach and river
Surfing Trips
Even though Jazzy’s River House is not an actual surf camp, the staff of the hotel still arranges surf expeditions for surf enthusiastic guests. Dominical is a surfer’s heaven. It features clean, smooth waves and a number of great beach breaks suitable for all sorts of surfers. Beginners, intermediate and advanced surfer can all have a good time. The hotel will gladly arrange for your transportation. You can bring your own surf equipment or rent it from any surf shop located on the beach. Have a fantastic time at Playa Dominical while trying to catch waves and riding them.
Tropical Art, Massage and Yoga – Holistic Therapeutic Bodywork
Jazzy’s River House offers a superb platform for Yoga and mediation. Relax and revivify your mind and body in midst of a beautiful location. Practice yoga with Jazzy’s for an hour daily in the morning. You can do yoga in groups or have a private session for a few more bucks. There is also an option for massage therapy. Besides yoga and massage, the hotel has beautiful display of tropical artwork. You can take art lessons from Steve and Kim if you wish to learn!
