Beginner’s Package
The beach of Tamarindo is one of the best beaches to learn surfing. The beach breaks are idyllic for novices and the waves are smooth and clean. The surf spot combined with the excellent gear and perfect demonstration given by the instructors of the camp make surfing very easy to learn. There are four students per instructor to guarantee personal attention. The three day package has five 2 hours long classes which are more than enough to master the basics of surfing while five day package has 9 surf classes and a week long course has 11 classes along with a private lesson. Moreover, it also includes accommodations, free access to surfboard and other equipment, a snorkeling trip, free T-shirt and a CD with your pictures.
Guided Tours for Advanced Surfers
La Oveja Negra Surf Camp and Hostel provides guided tours and surf expeditions for advanced surfers to a more challenging place. 
Most of the surf adventures take place at Witch’s Rock, Ollie’s Point and the likes. The package is great for surfers wanting to improve their skills or foreigners who have no knowledge about the local surf spots. The package is 3 to 7 days long with accommodations, photography session, a snorkeling trip, free surfboard and equipment and a free Costa Rican lunch everyday.
