The point break of Playa Flamingo is very inconsistent with a small take off zone. The waves are hollow and fairly short that break to the left over a sharp reef coral bottom. The waves mostly ride up to 50 meters throughout the year. For good surf, the waves require nice swells from Southwest and South direction.
