Surf For Life
Surf For Life is a surf camp, school and volunteer center based in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. The surf center is committed to help people learn surfing who are passionate about it. The school also participates in community service, helps out social services, volunteer in renovation of schools, takes part in construction of the bridges and builds amenities to ensure social and economic development. The camp takes place only once a year and those who are interested to join should sign up immediately.
All sorts of surfers are welcome. Beginners can learn the basics and ocean safety, intermediate can reach the next level while advanced surfers can improve their skills. Surf For Life organizes everything for their guests so they don’t have worry about a single thing. Transportation, meals and lodging will all be taken care of. Vacationers, particularly those who want to do some good, will find Surf For Life a wonderful opportunity to learn surfing, gain experience followed by a warm, fuzzy feeling that only comes after helping out the world.
Surf For Life Projects
Surf For Life has taken part in Hurricane Sandy Relief and have arranged trips to El Cuco, El Salvador, Manzanillo, Puerto Viejo, Nicaragua and other surf spots located on the Caribbean region of the country. Every year they arrange a unique expedition to a different place. The camp is known for its innovative style, effective teaching methods and professionalism which helps to evolve great surfers.

Surf For Life features a great combination of vacation and community service. The camp creates a group of 10 to 20 people and sends them to different areas where help is needed. Along with surfing, students also get a chance to explore amazing places and learn surfing in excellent surf points. During the trip, each student is responsible for raising a certain amount of money that will help to cover the costs of constructions, materials and tools.
