Zopilote Surf Camp is located in Playa Hermosa de Cabano on the northern pacific coast of Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica. Playa Hermosa is a paradise to surfers. Featuring consistent waves and a nice temperature all year round, the town is a great place to practice surfing. The surf camp is conveniently situated right on the beach offering a wide variety of amenities, accommodations and surfing opportunities to tourists. Couples, friends, families, and backpackers who are wave worshipers will love the surf breaks at Playa Hermosa. From novices, intermediate to veterans, Zopilote Surf Camp is a splendid place to spend your wavy, surfing retreat. Other fabulous activities tourists can enjoy are eco tours, waterfall excursions, horse-back riding, deep-sea sports fishing, canoeing, scuba diving and snorkeling.
The surf camp is operated by professional surfers who have a vast experience in the field. They conduct classes in various surf spots according to the student’s skills and knowledge. Besides Playa Hermosa, surf lessons are carried out in other surf towns such as Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Playa del Carmen, Manzanillo and Montezuma.

Zopilote Surf Camp has quite a number of value packages for everyone. The package offers low prices, exclusive features and amazing amenities in order to make your respite truly spectacular. The camp operates throughout the year and guests are welcome to stay and surf any time they want.
Beginner Surf Package
Beginner Surf Package features accommodation in a spacious, ocean front beach house, daily complimentary breakfast and dinner, 
round trip transportation from Mal Pais, and 2 hour long lessons at surf spots which are a short distance away from the lodging. The package includes some great amenities such as beauty treatment, access to a private beach area, free wireless internet and surfboard rentals. There will be four surf lessons a week. The accommodation also has some useful facilities like 24 hour reception, room service, restaurant, air conditioners, non-smoking rooms, shower, en suite private bathroom, and a parking spot. A few days of beginner’s package and you will be riding the waves like a pro.
Standard Surf Package
This package is geared towards intermediate surfers. It includes lodging in an ocean-front house, free breakfast and dinner, round trip transportation and 2 hour long surf sessions four times a week.
Accommodations
Zopilite Surf Camp features an ocean front house and two ranchos. The house has three bedrooms, a fully furnished bathroom with hot water shower and a modern kitchen. There is a balcony that looks over the water and a large lounge. The ranchos have a bedroom, a completely equipped bathroom and a lounge. The accommodations are comfortable, spacious and air conditioned with sublime views of the ocean and scenery.
