The Team of Zuma Tours
Ivan Rutter is the founder of the company. He and his staff teamed up to create an adventure organization in 1993. Their experience and passion for terrestrial and aquatic activities in the Pacific and Caribbean regions of Costa Rica made them one of the best companies. They were an instant success with superb results. Not they only they plan wonderful ventures but they are very reliable as well. Be it scuba diving in deep waters or a hike on the mountains, a surfing lesson or a horseback riding class, accommodations or meals, Zuma Tours will never disappoint you!
Surf the Waves with Zuma Tours
Zuma Tour has a surf school where they teach surfing to all sorts of surfers and ages. They usually carry out their lessons in Playa 
Grande Montezuma, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Cabuya and other good surf spots located nearby. The classes are conducted by professional and highly experienced surf instructors who are fluent in English and Spanish, have ISA certification and are trained open water rescue as well. The classes are held according to the condition of tides and swells. For beginners, Playa Grande is a perfect beach where waves are easy and more forgiving. Intermediate and advanced surfers can practice surfing in a more challenging area like Santa Teresa, Mal Pais or Cabuya. The classes are 3 hours long and students are provided with long board, rush guard, shirt and fresh fruits.
