Playa Hermosa Beach Hotel and Surf Camp has a team of professional surf instructors who have years of experience in surfing. The staff 
is bilingual to ensure proper communication with students; teachers are fully trained as lifeguards, know ocean safety protocols, certified in CPR and first aid and also have ISA certification. The camp provides surf boards and other surf equipment on rent. Guests can also bring their own gear. The classes are held according to student’s surfing skills which can be categorized as beginner, intermediate and advanced. The school has surf lessons for kids and teens so parents don’t have to worry about them. The camp features various surf packages but they are currently redesigning them. If you wish to join now, you can always customize your own personal package with the help of the staff.
Accommodations
The camp’s hotel is usually known by its nickname La Casona. The unique thing about the hotel is that its building is made entirely of wood obtained just from one tree called Genizaro. The hotel offers it guests three choices; shared rooms, forest rooms and ocean rooms. Shared rooms are 4 dorm-style rooms with 5 beds each. Forest rooms are two in number with lovely views of the jungles and private terraces and bathrooms. The ocean rooms are also two in number, have panoramic ocean views and spacious balconies. Guests are provided with daily complementary breakfasts and transport service.
